Target Groups:

Since the 2nd half to 2003, our target group have been clients of individual SPR facilities, often registered with Employment Agency, who are not active drug users and who are incorporated in one of the treatment programmes.
The determining factor for the target group is loss of work habits and skills, problem in the area of self-fulfilment in job, inability to succeed in the free labour market without help.

  • Abstaining clients after having undergone treatment programmes who need a little extra money and work rehabilitation
  • Clients undergoing treatment programmes of SPR
  • Uneasily employable clients of the Employment Agency with drug history

The service is provided to the target groups in a protected workshop of the Brno Centre, with another workshop in TC Podcestný Mlýn. The services are also used by stabilized clients of the methadone substitution programme of Brno and clients of after-care.

Service Goal:

To complete treatment and rehabilitation programmes of SPR in Brno. To provide clients without social background with temporary support.
Supported employment programmes in the workshops of the Eikón centre:

  • Short-term programme activating work habits and skills
  • Three-month programme for rehabilitation and development of work habits and skills
  • Social accompanying

In the workshops of TC Podcestný Mlýn, work therapy is provided.
